It happens to the best of us, sometimes. The important thing is to inform us as soon as you know you aren’t going to hit your date so we can do our best to help find you something else according to our author-initiated date change policy.

These details and fees apply to authors requesting to move their scheduled date to a later one (for whatever reason). These details do NOT apply to waiting list moves where we contact the author offering a sooner date (those are always free).

All author date shifts requests are subject to availability based on the schedule, meaning the desired date may not always available. We’ll do the best we can to get you the closest opening, but if we can’t find one suitable to the author, they are free to cancel their ARC completely (forfeiting their deposit).

Requests made 2 weeks or more from the scheduled ARC date:
1^st move request – Free
Subsequent move requests for the same book – $10 (billed and due immediately)

Requests made less than 2 weeks (but more than 3 days) from scheduled ARC date:
$10 (billed and due immediately)

Requests made 3 or less days from your scheduled date cannot be accommodated as your details need to be sent out 2 days before your scheduled date.  Any author who does not have a book ready to send will have to cancel and rebook their spot. No additional fee is charged for this, but your initial deposit is non-refundable.
