Taking place after the tribulations of The Diseased, Paige is finding herself in a situation that seems even more impossible than before. The President is dying, and she can save him. But she won’t.

“This isn’t the end of [Paige’s] story, and the cliffhanger is brutal! You will feel an array of emotions as you read through this thriller. The twists and turns were phenomenal, and I really loved finding out some of my theories were correct!” writes Rae in their 5-star review. “Some of the plot twists still got me and I thoroughly enjoyed it. We have some LGBTQ+ representation in this book along with some little romances.”

“The author doesn’t care about who gets killed and no-one is safe. The politics are intense and you really have to take account of who is in league with who and at what time,” says Linda R. in their 5-star review. “The book ended on a cliff hanger and so I can’t wait for the next book in the series.”

Her Perfect Murder

Lexi could have had it all, if it weren’t for a night 10 years ago when she was charged with murder. She has returned to her hometown, hoping to move from her past and begin a new future. But now that a private investigator is in town, her plan for moving on is taking a different course.

“Wow, what a ride!” writes T. Ross in their 5 star review. “Even after 10 years in prison for murder, Lexi is still having nightmares of the night her best friend, Alexa, died. When Zac moves in next door so he can be in town to look into a missing person case, Lexi finds out that Alexa isn’t who she claimed to be.”

“This was love at the 1st page I was captured from the start. The storytelling is just amazing,” wrote Dave in their 5 star review. “It’s absolutely absorbing and incredibly hard to put down…”

Something haunts Detective Asante Royo at an apparent suicide scene in an apartment complex notorious for shady business. Jaden Sanders lives across the hall from the crime scene. When three men break into his apartment, Jaden kills two of his attackers and stabs the third in the back. He is soon arrested for murder. But is Jaden a victim himself, or a murderer capable of killing again?

Unbalanced by Jason Parent is a ‘must read’ that quickly pulls you in and takes you on an incredible journey that is impossible to put down once you begin,” wrote Cindy S. in their 5-star review. “ I was hooked in the first several pages and found myself immediately empathizing with the protagonist’s struggles in anger and sadness while giggling through his inner monologue. All the while, on the edge of my seat as the mystery continued to unfold.”

“This book had me hooked from the beginning! I really enjoyed the characters, especially Jaden and Detective Royo. Royo is clearly a great detective who is very thorough and looks well beyond any initial clues. Jaden’s character is very well developed, and I appreciate the author giving so much detail of his life and his mental illness. The mystery unfolds well, and the inner dialogue of Jaden is at times comical, which was a nice change of pace. The dialogue within the courtroom scenes were very realistic and believable, which I really enjoyed,” wrote Angie H. in their 5-star review. “I really didn’t see the ending coming, but appreciated how well the loose ends were tied up.”
